Enter a program, e.g. 2000-200E: RESET → type 2000MEMC NEXT selects 2000H → type 2 data digits → MEMC NEXT stores the byte AND advances to 2001H (no need to press INS DATA every time — just like the real kit). Repeat for every byte up to 200E.
Run it: type the start address → MEMC NEXT to select it → GO. The result lands wherever your program stores it (e.g. STA 3000H).
Check the result: type 3000MEMC NEXT — the DATA display shows what's stored there.
Examine / modify a register: press EXREG SI, then press the matching key below. 2 digits + INS DATA changes it, MEMC NEXT steps to the next register. Press EXREG SI again to return to address mode.
FILL: press FILL → key in the 2-digit byte value → MEMC NEXT → key in the end address → MEMC NEXT (or GO) fills the range. No popups — everything is keyed in.
REL EXMEM: press it → key in a 2-digit hex offset (00-7F=+, 80-FF=-) → MEMC NEXT jumps the address that far.
STRING PRE: drops you straight into data entry at the current address — key in bytes with digits + MEMC NEXT just like normal entry.
DEL DATA also cancels a FILL/REL EXMEM in progress and returns to DATA mode.
RESET does not erase memory. Use CLEAR MEMORY to zero all 64K.
